Supporting Students to Become First-Generation College Students
MathSciencesUSA pairs students with tutors, free of charge, to provide academic and college application support.
Why offer free tutoring and academic support to underprivileged students?
Many students lack the proper academic support necessary to excel in core subjects. We believe in the power of mentorship and one-on-one tutoring to transform a student’s academic journey.
Why Our Approach Matters
MathScienceUSA fosters community, increases self-esteem, and creates opportunities. Our program's core is shaped by these guiding principles, which also represent the impact we hope to make for every student we work with.
Student-Led & Community-Focused
Founded by a high school student, MathScienceUSA is rooted in peer-to-peer support and the belief that students thrive when empowered by other students.
Tutors from Top Local Colleges
Our tutors come from respected institutions like Princeton, UPenn, Rutgers, and Temple, offering academic help and relatable guidance from those who’ve been there.
100% Virtual & Accessible
Tutoring sessions are held online, making it easier for students across South Jersey, Central Jersey, and Philadelphia to get consistent support, no matter their location.
Support Beyond the Classroom
We’re not just here for homework help. Students also get guidance with writing skills, college essays, AP planning, and standardized test prep.
Created to Close Opportunity Gaps
MathScienceUSA was built to support students from underserved communities who may not otherwise have access to personalized academic or college prep resources.
